Research possibilities for a certified platform for data processing and -storage acceptable  in terms of credibility for fact-finding and legal proceedings.

Legal Basis to Acquire Data

Assess the steps to be taken to secure the legal basis for accessing satellite data for humanitarian use in the light of aspects of  privacy and national security.

Optimizing the Supplyside

In-depth discussion with the data processing industry on constraints that preclude activities in the human rights domain and the development of possible business cases.

Professional Development of Legal Personnel

Training Judges, Council and legal personnel to better comprehend satellite based evidence and defining main questions to space sector.

(Legal) Practice in other Domains

Research corresponding practice and differences between handling evidence in other sectors such as agriculture; explore possibilities to insert proven practice in the humanitarian domain.
